Sarah, 24, is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh: "I care deeply about the world and the people that inhabit it, it is this care that drives me forward in how I live and act in my life. Kindness met with strength and determination is the backbone of social justice and how we challenge the world around us. We need to always continue to care in order to lift people up, to make things better.
For me the interest and care I have found in the world has concentrated in the world of visual culture, politics and technology during my academic studies. I have a MSc in Modern and Contemporary Art History and loved exploring the biopolitical relationships between people and technology, through the lens and help of cultural practice. Art for me has always been an investigative and reflective form that has more political prowess than many often imagine.
I’m inherently a curious and creative person, I love to experiment with ideas and to build on my knowledge as much as I can. It is this part of myself that has given me the best experiences (travelling and talking to people from all walks of life) and has shaped my biggest ambitions and successes. I want to bring socially valuable outcomes for the world- to stick up for people. In joining Ethos I look forward to building a career that I can be proud of in a sustainable and ethical way."
