What Ethos Young Leaders means to me

One of the things that excites me most about the world is how much more there is to learn and experience. In my biology degree I found that there are so many things that still remained unknown, instead of being uneasy about this I felt excited at the chance of discovery. I am also fascinated by the fact that it is the small organisms, be it bacteria, fungi or insects, which are the true rulers of this world. I'm motivated most by trying to help people in any way that I can. I want to go the extra mile when supporting others and to lift their spirits as I believe everyone should be treated with respect and fairness. I hate that many of the disadvantaged in our society go hungry, including children and their parents. The matter is of course complex, but something that needs to be changed about society. Through Ethos I hope to expand the network of people I know for building my career as well as gaining new skills and new approaches to work. The wealth of projects available will allow me to explore all possibilities and potential for my future.
