Running the ‘Finding Your Why’ workshop for Lisa Lashes School of Music was a real confidence builder for me, and has proved to me that I can do meaningful work with the correct preparation and content. I’ve helped develop this workshop further through delivering it to the National Youth Agency and hopefully, to make it into its own unique product to offer to other youth organisations. Through this experience I learned something I had never actually realised about myself before which is that I can be a confident public speaker - specifically if it is a topic I enjoy and am engaged with! I just really appreciated being able to provoke that discussion amongst young people with similar passions and interests as myself, and maybe give them some things to take away from it. It was truly fulfilling.
