What Ethos Young Leaders means to me

Joel Escayg
Cara Jeal
“My main motivation is my daughter. After having her at the age of 18 I have found people tend to stereotype young mothers. This has spurred me on to prove them wrong. I continued my studies at college while pregnant and with a very young child. I then went on to study and complete my animation degree with the hopes of completing a masters in the future. I believe that this shows that I am good at being strong and determined to ensure that I have the life I want for my child and for myself. I joined the Young Leaders group with the hope of building my animation and website portfolio.” Cara’s mentor is Ethos Partner, Elisa Tjuinder. She says, “Working with Cara continues to be a wonderful experience, she produces high-end material with limited resources. Despite delivering fantastic work independently and on time she is such a teamplayer. She has run workshops, helps other team members where she can and it’s so great to have her lifting spirits in each meeting. She is a perfectionist, detailed and organised and that shows in her work. Thank you so much for working with me and Sardines, we are very lucky!”
