What Ethos Young Leaders means to me

I am a very analytical person and enjoy learning new skills. A large motivation of mine when I wake up is if I can develop a skill or learn something new. I am always eager to learn something new but also to develop and use skills learned. What motivated me during my Masters research project was that all of my research would be new and could possibly be used to combat our use of nonrenewable sources for chemicals. Knowing that the work I was doing was new and could be used to solve problems in finding new renewable sources definitely motivated me to do my best work. A recent interest of mine is game design. I have recently started to learn how to code online through Codecademy and have always wanted to try and code my own game. Designing games using the Phaser game framework has allowed me to use and practise the coding languages I have learnt as well as allow me a more creative output in design. I find it very rewarding solving problems in my code as I also get rewarded with a working game at the end. I continue to enjoy working at Ethos and developing my skills in coding, animation and web/app development. Through Ethos I want to start to come more out of my comfort zone as I will be able to find more growth from challenging myself.
