Wilder Sensing

CEO of Wilder Sensing – a tech startup using Machine Learning and sensors to quantify changes to biodiversity.

I have a broad range of experience driving business change and innovation in organisations in a number of countries. Some 20 years of management consultancy experience often focussed on using technology to achieve a business outcome. Ran sales and consulting teams achieving high growth and satisfied customers and have significant experience in strategic selling and delivery, proposition development, partnering and organisational re-structuring.

While at Ernst & Young, both in the UK and Asia Pacific, I bid for and ran a number of large consulting engagements involving re-structuring, design and implementation of new business models, organisational change in anumber of sectors including Energy, Financial Services and Telecoms.

I was headhunted into IBM to run a large multi year engagement across the centre of the UK Government which received a number of industry awards.
I ran Sales and Marketing at an AIM listed company focussed on software as a service (SaaS) into Fortune 500 companies supporting large scale collaborative innovation.

At Oracle I ran a sales team focused on the Public Sector building long term relationships and supporting large and small organisations transform themselves in an age of austerity and employee retention issues.

In parallel with my working life I have a deep and enduring passion for nature – how to better understand it and stop it’s decline particularly in the UK. Set up Ethos Wilder in 2021 as a consultation organisation to enable new conversations to take place – first major event was at Windsor Castle in February 2022 with some 70 attendees over 2 days. In parallel I launching Wilder Sensing – a technology company to enable investors, land owners/managers and ecologists develop a much better understanding of changes to biodiversity.. watch this space..
