We are excited to announce that one of our spin off projects – Team Ethos – will now be known as Team Forces. This re-brand is to align the armed forces brand with the Team Army brand, which has always been visually stronger and more appealing to both sponsors and beneficiaries.

The new Team Forces brand will run in parallel with the Team Army brand and will encompass beneficiaries and sports associations from the wider armed forces community, whilst Team Army will of course remain the flagship brand for Army sponsorship and support.

The venture straplines are also being updated to: FUNDING SPORT & ADVENTURE for Team Army and FUNDING MILITARY SPORT & ADVENTURE for Team Forces.

What is Team Forces/Team Army?

Team Army and Team Forces are co-brands of a programme which helps to fund sport, challenge and adventure in the armed forces community in order to improve health, wellbeing and recovery. Its mission is to:

  • support serving personnel as well as veterans who have been injured or wounded in service.
  • fundraise, attract sponsorship and make financial grants to make sporting activities more accessible by reducing the cost of participation.
  • encourage and assist our elite athletes to compete at the highest level.
  • support a growing number of expeditions and adventurous challenges each year as well as activities which aid recovery from mental and physical injury.

The programme is operated by Ethos Fundraising Ltd (EFL) in collaboration with the Team Army Sports Foundation.

The brands Team Forces and Team Army are interchangeable and applicable within the armed forces as appropriate.

Since its launch in 2011, this venture has raised over £9m for the armed forces community.

“The value that this organisation has added to the moral component of our serving and veteran forces, especially those that now find themselves physically or mentally disadvantaged is incalculable.”
