Whilst studying my Climate Change (MSc) I started to focus more on social sustainability projects and even based my thesis on community energy and its impacts. Performing this type of research made it clear to me that I wanted a career that invested in people and their environments in order to create positive change. Graduating in 2020 was a difficult time but I was lucky that I was introduced to Ethos.
Ethos shares my passion for social sustainability throughout their projects and this is something that is important to me. Within Ethos I mainly work with Noggin and Independabilty as these two ventures align with my interests quite well. The mapping element of Noggin has really interested me and given me a desire to learn more about GIS and how data can be shown through maps. The Independability project sparked my interest because I have previous experience working within research surrounding disability and have undertaken training in digital accessibility also.
