After leaving Sixth Form I had no idea what I wanted to do in further education, so I made the decision to save up and travel. I worked at the local Snow Centre in the sales department where developed an in-depth understanding of the service and sales-based industry. After my time aboard I came back and worked in a sales start up, this enabled me to develop my existing skill set as well as gain a deeper understanding of working in a developing business. Transitioning from this roll I helped migrate one of our products over to the UK market, this involved setting up the UK operation as well as building a UK based support and service team which I managed.
Before the pandemic hit, I was scheduled to take an internship at an executive search company in the United States. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take this opportunity, so I went on to universal credit and endured a turbulent 2020. As the year came to a close, I was made aware of Ethos and the potential to become a Young Leader. Grasping the chance with both hands I applied and was delighted to have managed to secure a position with Ethos. The learning curve has been steep but extremely enjoyable and the raft of different projects and people make working at Ethos a joy. The dynamic between partners is brilliant and I constantly find myself engaging with kind likeminded individuals who offer experience and guidance to push me further allowing me to absorb new skills and develop my existing ones. Within Ethos I have worked on various projects primarily in sales and business development.
Outside of Ethos I can be found playing whatever musical instrument is available. Playing and making music has become a constant due to the pandemic halting any ability to perform at live events. I enjoy sport, whether that be playing or watching and especially enjoy it when with friends and family.
